Uh, yeah well... There is always wiggle room for pretty much everything here. I'm pretty sure a young Nunh being the father of a few at first might be willing genuinely to act as a real dad or something, why not. It can make sense. I just doubt that after many years of service if it's the case, with so many offspring, he still have just the human means to do so.
All in all I tend to speak mostly in terms of mainstream lore. What people could call lore bending (like here), is in my opinion certainly not that, but going into... specifities, oddities, and the likes.
