How common is roleplaying through voice chatting and mics in game? I'm pretty attached to my keyboard (even for ooc).Â
You can use voice or typing for Skype, but the typical use is typing for RP. HOWEVER, I've had a few voice RPs when I was doing a pen and paper roleplay and it really added a whole new dimension to the RP! Instead of reading how a character might act, you actually get to see and hear it. It really helped me get into the scene more. The only down side for me is that I'm actually pretty shy when talking, so I had a harder time playing my character, haha.
I do think it would be interesting to have a voice RP going on over Skype, though very unlikely to happen.
