Every single chocobo has one name, regardless of their size, color, stature, condition, and etc. That name... is Bird. On top of that, trying to give special names to pets as if they were sentient races is folly and should not be done.

Pretty tough to think positively about the people who hunted you down, chased you out of your home, and took away your family. Garleans are also in this boat as well, but to a lesser degree; they're a faction recognized as enemies of the state.
