While I'm not fixed to a specific character concept yet, I'm leaning heavily towards Miqo'te because of the significant RP opportunities that exist in their lore. Without repeating what I've written about this in other threads, I think there's a lot of cultural tension in and with that race, and that can lead to some very interesting RP.
Other races I've considered have been Elezen, as there's some interesting ways to play against type, and Hyur, since there's probably going to be a lot of the other races and relatively few Hyur relative to their large population in the lore. What can I say; I like supporting the normalcy of a world.
In beta 3, I'm playing a Duskwight Elezen, primarily, because I like the look of the character.
Since I'm not RPing in this phase of beta, my choices are purely aesthetic.
