"My Mother used to tell me stories of her grandfather for whom I was named after. They say he was an Onion Knight hailing from a far-off, distant land called Alfitaria. Where that country lies I'm not certain, as I haven't seen it on any map or chart, but surely it must exist."

Mother says that after saving his homeland from peril he set out to see the world guided by an enchanted, crystal chalice. After a long journey fraught with danger over both land and sea, my Great Grandfather found his way to Eorzea where he met my Great Grandmother and settled down to start a family.
