- Gridanian naturalists are uncertain how to classify the new strain of mandragora, a highly aggressive type of seedkin with a single large eye in the center of their heads. It seems to have a breeding population. There have been no further sightings of the coblyn-treant hybrid.
- The Ossuary is seeking information regarding the unnatural death of Fufutilo Keketilo, in accordance with the late monetarist’s will.
- Deven Smith, Limsan merchant, is making several very public overtures towards Anstarra Silverain, including contacting her superiors at Maelstrom Command. He wants to purchase the Vylbrandi Chocobo from her.
- The Ahriman Menace seems to be subsiding. Though the voidsent are still maintaining a population, extermination efforts seem to be making a noticeable difference.
