Oi oi, lads, lasses and fellas with glasses!~ Zaoka here, with our monthly update for the happenings in Jackal and Hide. While things have been relatively quiet for the most part, we have not been entirely without events!

Our first job of the month began with a call to the war room from Jackal and Hides very own bard, Ryder Baily. The Jackals had been contracted to retrieve a rather nasty payload of weapons from a black market located in Thanalan before they fell into the hands of some rather unscrupulous individuals. Our band of rogues were able to infiltrate the black market under the guise of two rival buyers and their retainers. Using their wits, the Jackals were able to find a means of breaking into the warehouse in which the weapons were stored and spirit them away, successfully fulfilling the contract.

It wasn’t all acts of espionage  though, following the second Anniversary ofJackal and Hide, we also held the Sunny Seaside bar, hosted by myself in Inarah and Kilid’s stead. As means of celebrating the Free Companies second anniversary with those from outside the Company, two free drinks were offered to all patrons, and they were to enjoy a night of performances. Special thanks to the Drunken Moogles very own Rhyan Charm and A'nara Nitsah who performed that night and to those who helped staff the bar. It wouldn’t have been a success without you all!

With that we also saw the conclusion of the Jackals Story:All that Glitters, in which the Jackals found themselves coming face to face with the mastermind of the web of intrigue that they had found themselves tangled in. After fighting their way through the villain, Orraut’s minions and a gruelling battle with the fiend himself, in which many found themselves injured during, the Jackals found themselves victorious and were able to rescue the captured Lady Symonne.

As the month drew to a close, we found ourselves in receipt of a visitation from from an Officer of the Twin Adders, requesting the aid from various adventurers before happening across the Jackals. Taking the name and rank of the officer for verification (As well as to invoice a commission once the job was done) a group of Jackals volunteered to aid the man in dealing with a cult who’s flame was thought to have long since extinguished.
And thus concludes our report for this week. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next few months will bring us as we draw ever closer to the release of Stormblood and hope to see you all around!
