Despite everything that's happened it's still only been 5 years since the Calamity, 25 years since Garlemald took over Doma, etc, etc. There's a quote from Micheal-Christopher Koji Fox somewhere about the game being stuck in a "Simpson's time bubble". So basically we've freed Ishgard from it's war with the dragons, liberated Ala Mhigo and Doma, killed a bunch of primals, and it's still the same year. Making Connections | Character Directory
