I'd be surprised if the early-access code counted for that, considering how, ah, easy those are to illegitimately obtain.
Well my Square profile now has FFXIV: ARR under registered games, I think that means I'm all good doesn't it?
This is just speculation, because I haven't seen the info personally, but based off of how other games work, you will just have to enter the physical game's code (well, or digital game's code) when it's released. Â There's usually a 48 hour grace period after launch to give people time to enter it.
