We RPers can't play in any other random server. We're a whole community that must be united, so getting our servers closed isn't something we can simply live with.
I would really like to see this, but I am not sure we have enough of a population to get Square to listen to such a request.
Role-players tend to be brushed off as a minority, but in actuality they make up a pretty notable chunk of any MMO's population. Typically they're the sort of player that's more likely to stick around even when there's a particularly dry period where fresh content is concerned so even from a business standpoint appeasing them is a very wise move.
