I'm taking on faith the fact there there will be lots of story and stuff to do based on FFXI. The stuff they've shown is beautiful, and as a 3D production artist myself I can say that the stuff they are doing is amazing, but it has nothing to do with the gameplay or the content. It can be the prettiest game in the world, but if it isn't fun to play, it's not a good game. That said, I think this will be fun to play. I would like some official ingame videos of story content or something similar.
