Being a Miqo'te its not like he doesn't have plenty of ear to attach 'em to. Plumbing, despite the only game I've actually seen toilets in being Star Citizen, I tend to ignore for the most part just assuming it happens "off camera". Travel?  Xha'li is currently limited to Limsa Lolimsa's environs because he doesn't have an airship pass and isn't fond of teleport. Electricity? No, just no.  I take the belief that those lamps are oil and ore magic fueled, and both Gridania and Limsa have a quest where you need to refill some lanterns with oil.
