"No...yes......No.."
The Miqo'te walked down the road, his hands pocketed inside his crossed arms. Taking a few steps further he began to speak out loud more, with no obvious target for his words.
"No...wait! ...No again." He smiled, his fangs poking out harmlessly over his lower lip as he turned around to look at the building he had made distance from. The breeze offered comfort, even in the colder embrace of the night. The lighting of the area was poor, buildings were blackened out and road lights were few and far between. Tilting his head up the armored Miqo'te straightened his face at the sight of the equally dimly lit structure.Â
"Ambrosia.." He started to scowl as he peered to the door as best he could from the distance. His face softened though and his scowl turned a guilty frown as he looked over the rest of the structure's features. His eyebrow suddenly furrowed and he turned around, waving a a hand in front of his face in an agitated fashion, the lance he armed himself with dangled on his back. "Yeah, yeah, I know. You -have- to be right, don't you?"Â
Turning his shoulders around he once more continued down the poorly visible road. His eyes searched the ground as his lips were curled down in a mustered state of sadness. A toothpick dangled lightly between his lips and his fangs after he remembered he had taken one to chew on. His pupiless eyes watched the ground and moved about frantically, as if he was spending more time thinking - or arguing, than watching where he was going. He stayed unattentive to his surroundings as his face shifted as if he was listening to someone speak. His ears, however, did not twitch or flutter as they usually did.  He ceased movement a moment later, looking up to nothing and no one, but speaking allowed. His white eye swirled with a darkness and he spoke in a much more demonic voice.Â
"Shut up right now, you have no business...you..." His eyes began to water and whiten with color as his fists clenched to his sides. "Don't bring her up! Shut up! Shut up!" If anyone was watching, they would see the suffering man hit himself in the head with the smaller knuckles on both fist. He stopped after a moment, shaking his head, panting for breath as his eyes swirled between the two colors constantly until balancing out to his usual look- white and black.Â
Taking a moment the settled man would wipe a sleeve across his face, careful to not drag any metal or spikes across his eyes. "Quit being an idiot, we're going to go see her if you'd calm down for 5 minutes. You look crazy." He couldn't help but take amusement in himself, chuckling momentarily before stopping quickly, his ears fluttering 3 times in quick succession like a butterfly; he was stopped by a voice not in his head.
"Crazy is just the word I was looking for." Aoelus'a turned around, peering at the man who spoke out. He was a shorter Hyur man with spiked brown hair, though it seems as if it was that way from smoke or dirt than it was styled. He wore thick goggles over his face and his grin was wide. He dawned cloth robes, white as if he was trying to mimic a lab-coat but failed miserably. Kneeling down the unusual Hyur man spoke with a raspy and older sounding voice. He held out a small amount of food low the the ground as he tried to beckon Aoelus'a over. "Heeerree kitty kitty...tch tch tch...kiiiiittyy."Â
Aoelus'a scowled and gripped his lance over his right shoulder. "Yup, you have a one-in-one chance of fucking dying after that, old man." Before he could fully unsheathe his weapon, the Hyur man pointed behind him and called out.
"Now, Arluck! Flip the switch!"Â
Turning around Aoelus'a would see an enormous figure; a Roegadyn male even bigger than natural size. He held a switch in the palm of his hand, much too small in proportion to his palm. Taking a finger he lightly pressed against the switch. "Sorry, kitty." Was all he said as he flipped it; the switch connected itself to wires that ran off of Aoelus'a vision. He quickly followed to what they were only to realize they led to a normal wooden barrel.Â
"What was that supposed to-" He turned his head to look at the switch again but was stopped. The large Roegadyn had used the time to walk up to him and punch the side of his head pretty hard, instantly knocking the Miqo'te to the ground. His vision faded to black as he only heard voices before losing consciousness.Â
"Boss...I still don't see why we needed da' switch. I could of just of punching him from start?"Â
"Because I'm the scientist, Arluck. Not shut up and grab his body. This will much more fun with a crazy kitty."Â
