The mage thing is good in theory, but it really is hella annoying tethering yourself to an aetherite because you CAN INDEED run out of mana after one fight. Fight, run back, fight, run back. It's extremely time consuming. It needs tweaked, but I'm sure it will be come release 
Edit: Ugh, This, however, is almost unacceptable:
