Either way, as the two above me have said, welcome to the RPC, sounds like you have quite a bit of experience under your belt, so i'll skip the "read this to know how to RP" and get right to the juicy bits. mmmm forum juice...

For example the Calendar, a list of events that might interest your character, some require applications, some you can just jump in to!
Looks like you already have a linkshell, but if you have room for one or two more, I highly recommend taking a look at:

Intermission is a fairly large OOC shell for collaboration, communication and general shennaniganry, make some friends, meet them at places the usual.
If you keep odder hours, (specifically EU odd) "Europa" might fit the bill better. OOC as well.
