There was a time for most anything in every situations. Flee, fight, beg, parlay, gloat, flirt. Tobias knew this well enough. Unfortunately, attempting to drop C'kayah with a few strikes would not be one of those times. Partly because the pain in his body would prove to hinder him, but also because that would obviously not be the best course of action at this given moment--as much as he thought it would be the easiest way to handle the situation.
       So instead, Tobias bides his time, "You can understand my distrust and yet you give me no more reason to trust you than for you to trust me. How peculiar a situation we are in..."

       If Tobias could not have his hands on the seal directly, he would settle for the next best thing--having a hand on the person who has it.
