Let me start off by saying I am happy to have found this site. Which I admit, I did a google search for, but hey, at least this site and community exists!
I want to let you know I am brand new to Final Fantasy XIV, but not MMOs. After looking up info from this site I decided on joining Balmung and my character is a Miqo'te-Seeker of the Sun, named Quinn Blade.
My MMO experience dates back to January 13, 2003 when I first started Everquest. While I was on the RP server, I did only basic RP here and there. My biggest MMO RP experience was in Star Wars Galaxies where I RPed night and day for about 2 years straight before the NGE occurred. (For those who played the game, you know what I'm talking about) I moved on to WoW and RPed there on occasion. I also have dabbled in several other MMOs, EQ2, Rift, Tera, LoTRO, CoH/V, Aion, and probably missing one or two there. I just like MMOs.
It has been quite a while since I've gotten back into the swing of Roleplaying and I am eager to jump right back into it. I've now played this game for a week, dabbling into the mechanics, still a newb yes, but I'm getting the hang of it, and I really am enjoying it so I like to make an RP home here. I plan to be a medium-heavy RPer, as that is what I miss most about playing in MMOs. So I guess looking forward to meeting more people and joining up with some of you in game!
