Like... a LOT. More than I care to mention. The ability to actually bring people into a story is a lost art >_>. And whenever I request to be thrown a bone, I get the'not here to hold hands' excuse. Oooookay. So I'm supposed to pick up a book, flip to chapter 12, and know exactly what's going on?
But yeah, as stated in #3 of Tier's guide, OOC communication can go a long way to alleviating any and all problems. OOC communication is basically the equivalent of tabletop players asking for clarification of the staged scene, so they better know how to interact with it.
