Well, WoW is a fairly hostile place for RP. 
Between the griefers and the cliques, it's not a happy place.
I'll toss my name out there, too. Always feel free to start RPing with me if you see me about, and I'm open to setting up scenes, too. L'yhta's an outgoing sort and enjoys meeting new people.
Even if your character is shy and wouldn't approach directly, if you toss out an RP hook to which I can respond, I try my best to bite.
I also enjoy pulling together IC dungeon runs, which are a great way to break the ice since all you need is a setup for why you're all there (hired by the same person, assigned it by a Grand Company, etc.). After that, interaction is guaranteed -- especially if the hook is amusing ("Wait, they told you to look for the fat miqo'te?").
