
C'kayah paused at the thump, looking back to see the fallen bag. He shook his head and drew up his chocobo, who stopped with a soft "kweh". Stooping, he picked up the box, slipping it back into the saddlebag.
"Thanks", he said, flashing a grin. His voice was a gentle baritone, with a hint of a Dha'yuz Miqo'te accent. "I don't think I would have liked to lose this."
He slung the bag over the back of his chocobo, reaching under to pull the belly strap across and buckle it. "I've been traveling this road for some years", he said. "It's getting busier. I don't recall seeing you here before, though. Just passing through?"
