Standoffish and defensive will all walls up by nature, but gratuitously caring and a bit lonely deep down now that he's around people. It's something basic to build off of without being too boring.
I'll be lurking around here for a good while, and I -may- ask about a mentor, but all of those references from the first post seemed to be from last year and I'm a bit worried they might be out of date as people come and go.Â

Gah, everyone misunderstands Miqos at first.
If those who roll male Miqo'te only wanted to build a harem, then all the Tias on the sever would be doing it wrong XD
I only see a few Nuhn once in a while, and it does make me wonder what their angle is; however, there are far more Tias, and plenty of Moon-keepers.
Sure, there are those who play Miqo'te in a stereotypical, or strange way, but that is true of all the races.
