I wasn't sure where to put this, so if this is in the wrong place, then I apologize. Â I just wanted to let those interested know that I've uninstalled XIV and cancelled my service account.
I have found no joy in playing this game. I have to come to grips with the fact, as much as I might have been deluding myself. Â I tried to get re-acquainted with a new role and a new everything and it just doesn't speak to me anymore. Â Mechanically, I find this game to be absolutely excellent, but the further design decisions and continued sense of being not really useful to...well...anyone or any stage of the game has rendered my decision.
I still do plan to lurk around these forums and likely will be putting out posts once in a while...but not even my beloved Dark Knight class could get me to re-install and try my hand again.
I love you guys. Â I always will. Â And I'm not going to leave this spectacular community, no matter what. Â Thanks to everyone who tried to pick me up and dust me off. Â I'm sorry if you feel like I've let you down.
