Lyn tilted his head yet again at the matriarch in wonderment. Such a smart and deceiving woman to do such a thing. It was good he had decided on the truth and not to lie, the latter might have turned out bad. Kiht stuck up for him, borderline boasting and he smiled at her for a second looking back to the matriarch again as she carried on speaking about the obvious truths that he had been the masked hunter of the ixili that the forest wailer had reported seeing. Before he could answer the older keeper female however yet again Kiht spoke up in his defense, you see this is why he loved this woman. Strong, quick on the uptake and defense of something she cared about. He cringed a small amount at the matriarchs words of logic and common sense, although it stung more because she compared it to something so trivial. He still had wounds healing from those weeks spent hunting that even Kiht didn't know about. To that end however Kihts words even to him were a bit pre mature, she had never said she wouldn't accept him into the clan. It was then that the other male spoke up, his tone of voice sent Lyns ears pinned back as his temper began to flare.Â
This male was becoming annoying very quickly, his words were offensive and overly rude. This was not something Lyn believed he had earned from any of them. His yellow eyes turned to give the man a death glare, while his body showed restraint his eyes and expression showed one of obvious and blatant hostility. As Kiht and the man went back and forth Lyns teeth began to bare until the matriarch spoke up shocking him back into it all. If Kiht had been paying close attention she may have noticed Lyns entire body had tensed up as if he was about to pounce on the what would have been hapless male. But as Lyn looked back at the leader of the clan he nodded now his face much more serious. He spoke up his voice much more serious now, his nerves on edge. Who was that guy to try and deny him this based on some out of the blue accusation like that?!
"Thank you Matriarch for having confidence in me. If it satisfies the clan I will submit to any "testing" necessary to prove myself of pure blood. I am without a doubt that at the very least. Anyone who doubts it after said tests can come to me personally and we'll settle it.." Lyns head would turn just enough so one of his eyes could look on Raih'a with a thousand yard stare of rage. "My way.." He would turn back to look again upon the higher ranking one, sighing and then smiling, letting his body go at ease at least with another flase smile. "And to answer your question from before yes, I am very much smitten with the beautiful one beside me today. If it weren't for her I would probably be dead by now fighting the Ixili...."
