Originally from Thanalan (his mother still resides in Ul'dah), Lolotaru Lalataru is a recent immigrant to La Noscea, where he currently resides to study and participate in the rich academic life of the region. He does still do merchant business, but the majority of his company's activity remains delegated to employees and retainers in Thanalan. Unlike many who have posted so far, his business is legitimate, but the mindful sort might have heard rumors of a time when that wasn't quite so certain.
