What do you think of the new "chat" quest in the taverns?

I find it irritating, annoying, RP-destroying, and completely unnecessary. I do like the XIV tutorial but chat is one of the most basic elements of an MMO and I guess I find it weird that there's a tutorial to how to use it when the game has already been out for this long. I mean is anyone really benefiting from something like that?  I guess it's fine from a non-RPer's perspective, if a bit silly, but as an RPer I wonder if this will be hub-destroying or not in the long run.
