The dusty room of the Inn greeted him with sunlight and a peaceful quiet The bed looked inviting after his time in the jungle. He laid down his bag and gently placed his sword and shield against the wall, looking down at them for a moment, disappointed in himself for having kicked them angrily days before.
He walked to the bed and sat, placing his head into his hands and taking a deep breath. It had been hard, seeing Kage in the jungles outside of Wineport and hard words had been said, but they were things that needed saying. Ruru hoped the bridges had been rebuilt and smoothed over with him and the Sultansworn. Hoped that Natalie wouldn't deny him the opportunity to attempt the trials based on his decision to basically disappear.
He lifted his head and sniffed for a moment and realized he smelled awful. And needed cleaning immediately. Taking a bath and trimming his hair a bit to make it neat, he dressed in his nicest set of armor and made the long walk to the Chamber of Rule as he was being summoned by Ser Natalie and his mentor Kage for something.
He smiled as he walked, happy he was finally home again.
