The RP is great, at least if you know where to look! RP is 75% of the reason why I subscribe myself. If you end up on Balmung, Harbingers of Dawn would be happy to have you! We're a med-heavy RP FC with lots of different plots going on! We have a company house and the housing is really pretty cool.  If you want open world RP, the best place to check will be the Adventurer's Guild of each of the three major cities.
