Augh. The comments on the other thread suggested we could have a nice conversation about the impacts of IC scale and OOC scope on events, and where the line should be drawn, but... it seems that's just not going to happen. A lot of people on both sides are sniping at each other now rather than discussing the issues.
I'm going to lock this before it gets any more ugly, and I apologize for having split it off in the first place. My intention was absolutely never to start a "bash Ul'dah RP" thread but rather to break out the discussion of plot scope into a separate thread. Like I said, I'm glad the people involved are having fun, but the social aspects of large scale, large scope plots are something to be considered.
