From Jaques to Vaughn
By Xenedra
When we're off fishing, the time goes so fast
It's not only your line, but a spell that you cast
And so I'm transfixed, enjoying the view
Since no one can handle a pole quite like you
In the kitchen together, we always have fun
You bake in a whirl, making cinnamon buns
Now bend over, love, and I'll give them a bite
Tasting your sweets with voracious delight
Sweet, golden Songbird, come a-walking with me
We'll ride up to the mountains and swim down to the sea
We'll explore every spring, lake and river between
And for the last stop, my favorite ravine
And when your lithe muscles ache with use
After long weeks of strain and abuse
I'll take you to Bronze Lake to soak and to sweat
Where you'll lose all your worries and glisten while wet
What can I say, love, I'm so happy you're mine
With your grace and your poise, you're absurdly divine
Please open your mouth, love, and sing me your song
Just show me those lips and I'll sing right along
Sweet, golden Songbird, come a-walking with me
We'll ride up to the mountains and swim down to the sea
We'll explore every spring, lake and river between
And for the last stop, it's my favorite ravine
