Julius Caesar was probably wrong then. The Gauls wore clothes and even were probably the only people at that time acually wearing pants. They also had a way better understanding on craftsmanship (gallic casks vs outdated greek/roman amphoras, etc), goldsmithing, and metallurgy than the romans.
Also, to be more nitpicky, the term 'Gaul' was invented by Caesar himself to designate an actual huge group of different cultures and people, that all had their own way of doing things so...
