..Still trying to beat the Civ V game I started last week, as Marathon games eat my life. Thankfully I get the ability to pass out easier than most people, so sleeping through time is an option!

Marathon games are the best! I've lost whole weeks to every version of Civ since II (and Alpha Centauri). Just... one... more... turn.

For the first time in a long while I'll be going to bed earlier than usual. Not that I expect to get much sleep since I'm pretty excited, but even a few hours is better than nothing, eh?Â

My CE is due to arrive in the post tomorrow, but my pre-order code is sorted so even if the physical stuff isn't delivered I can still indulge in early access.

Im quite hyped for this as well! all my codes are in order so thus the painful wait begin's...wonder what time we finally can begin....let's hope same as the beta times

They were announced a while ago:

I think I'll try and get to sleep within an hour or so. I've set my alarm for half an hour before the servers are due to go online so I'll have time to get a shower and wake myself up fully before jumping into the fray!

It's amusing how exciting things like this can be it's like when you are going on vacation in the morning and you just can't sleep. Just looking forward to finally getting started and turning my character into something more than a bunch of scribbles in a notebook.Â Not long now before it's all systems go.

Was planning to sleep the last few hours away....but ended up sleeping in till 5pm this afternoon. So now I get to spend the next 8hrs pacing waiting for the game to be available.
