After getting through the intro, I quickly logged to see if I could make a character on Balmung, and spend a solid 15 minutes battling with error 3102. But, I appear to have emerged victorious, as I now have a character on there. Even if I got kicked right away and told the world is still full, I don't care... I'm on that world!

Sorry, I'm just very happy about this. Now time to get ready for class...

Phew, I'm very glad that you managed to create your character! I felt nervous while reading your story, since I didn't know if it'd have a happy ending *laughs*.

Hahaha, I woke up, rushed downstairs to my computer like Ralphie on Christmas morning. Saw that the servers were up and made Dogberry on Balmung faster than a chocobo on hypers.

Yuuup.. I don't mind that really as I made a character already.. Just really wanted to try a black mage or bard out.. Oh well as long as someone who didn't get to even play yet got their character up I'm okay with that for now.

And then I was frustrated cuz I couldn't log into kujata (server full)

yes, very nice now.Â I can tinker about a bit and when transfers become available I can move my full version character cross servers and not loose all that work I'd put into her.

I'd contemplated rolling an alt on Balmung just to have her, for times when I needed a break from Janna, but now I'm glad I didn't- one more spot that someone else was able to get. I hope they open it up again some more in the coming days so more folks can get in.

Though I was doing my best to remain optimistic, honestly, I wasn't sure if it'd have a happy ending either, hahaha. Though, the story isn't over yet, it's certainly much happier now.

They seem to have reverted to what they were doing during Early Access and Beta 4. Â That is to say, they're opening and closing character creation as the day goes on based on the current population of the server in question. Â So, you may wish to try making characters in the wee hours of the morning when fewer people are on.

I heard that as well - that quite simply, if the server is full (meaning there's a queue) you can't create a character.

Not so silly when you consider that one of their subscription options is one where you can only have one character on a server.

Was able to get a character made. Now I just need to decide if I want to start over here or not
