Halfway done with his ale Lucian was feeling a bit wobbly, Lalafell had small builds therefore it only made sense that they were bad drinkers. Feeling a bit woozy Lucian continued to eat the slices of apple that never seemed to end, and it was a good thing because he didn't want them too. As he was midway into finishing one he turned his head to the doors as he heard them open and a small Miqo'te entered. He could tell she was a Miqo'te from the ears that shown out the hat. As he watched her cleanse herself from the rain he caught a glimpse of the glowing pink eyes that seemed to beam right at him, ''Beautiful'' he thought taking another bite of the apple. Trying not to stare he used his peripheral vision to continue looking at her delicate features, her face was like something made from magic, wondrous and beautiful to behold. Not paying attention to his meal Lucian brought his fingers up to his mouth and bit them thinking there was an apple slice in his grasp. Pain quickly brought him out of his trance, Lucian placed his finger in his mouth and ran past a few tables to go outside in order to heal himself.

Shamad began to drool on the bar. He continued to snore with the occasional snort.

Since the white-haired Miqo'te seemed to be focussed on her work so much, Midaja turned around again, just in time to dodge the Lalafell dashing out of the tavern with a low whimper.
This really was an odd place but that only made it more interesting. She slowly made her way to the bar, carefully avoiding any contact with the contests participants and its audience. For a few seconds she stopped to watch the snoring entity on the bar stool and her catlike eyes noticed a little puddle of saliva forming under the Lalafell being. Shrugging she sat down at the bar, leaving some safe distance between herself and the drunk sleeper, folded her hands on her knees and observed the spectacle. |

The doors opened. A Miqo'te and two Lalafells walked in. They scanned the room and focused on the bar. The Miqo'te walked over to the bar, examined Shamad, and pulled a dagger. The two Lalafells took a table near the bar. The door opened again and a Miqo'te, a Hyur man, and a Lalafell man walked in. They gasped as they saw what the Miqo'te was about to do. The Lalafell ran forward and stopped the downward stroke of the dagger. He bit her wrist and she dropped the knife. She hissed at him. "HE MUST DIE!!"
They wrestled to the ground, knocking Shamad to the ground in the process. The Miqo'te and Hyur at the door ran to the struggle and got stabbed in the leg by the two Lalafells. They shoved their swords into the Lalafells and died. Shamad woke as he hit the ground. He looked over groggily as the Lalafell on top of the Miqo'te grabbed the dropped knife and stuck her. The Lalafell got up and grabbed Shamad. Shamad stood up shakily and saw the pendant on the Miqo'te's neck. He ripped it off and was dragged out by the other Lalafell. [[Blegh. I wanted to jump in, but, I had no idea where to start. Since it seems things are sort of at a stand-still, i'll just run with it. I assume it's raining out, based on some of the other posts, so... ...here I go!]]
Slowly, the door to the tavern creaked open just enough for the figure of a Hyur to slip on through. He discreetly reached his right hand behind himself, pushing the door shut while simultaneously pulling back the hood of his cloak with his left. The hood flopped against his back with a wet sounding slop, and seemed to sag down with the water weight the cloak had accumulated out in the rain. The fact that he was soaking wet didn't seem to phase the Hyur in the least bit as he made his way across the tavern floor, leaving streaks of water in his wake. The Hyur carefully scanned over the tavern as he moved before appearing to set his eyes on an empty table. One in a corner, far enough away from other tavern-goers to keep away any prying eyes. At least so he thought. Reaching the table, he pulled back the thick, wet folds of his cloak and began to unfasten the scabbard of his Longsword, as well as several satchels from the belt that was slung loosely around his hips. After setting them down next to the chair, he quickly took a seat, sparing time for once last glance around the tavern to assure himself that he would be left alone. Sure enough, the majority of the tavern-goers were far to absorbed in their own conversations to have even so much as noticed his presence, let alone be interested in him. A hand rose up to untie the ponytail that sat at the back of his head, allowing him to quickly shake his messy black hair out before tightly pulling it all back, and once again bunching it all up in a small, looped knot. Seeming to have finally settled in, the Hyur heaved one of the satchels that sat near his feet up onto the table and began to rummage through it's contents, showing an overall look of disapproval as he flopped wet maps and papers onto the table. |

Since nothing was happening for quite a while, Midaja crossed her arms on the bar and rested her head atop. With a mixture of boredom and tiredness she watched the barkeeper handing her the fruit juice she just ordered and took a sip, letting out a sigh just as the door opened again. The following battle made her raise her head and blink in confusion but that was already it. She didnt really care about something different than the delicious nectar in the cup between her hands, so she took another sip and licked her lips, the fluffy tail swinging back and forth in glee.
Few moments later the creaking door made her ears twitch but since she was busy holding her now empty cup upside down and staring right into it to make sure there was nothing left in it, she didnt react to the newcomer until he already took his seat in the corner. Having nothing more to drink, boredom settled in once more and she startet watching the Hyur dealing with his paperwork. |

The Hyur let out an exasperated sigh as he pushed the pile of wet mush across the table, though not before carefully setting the map aside to dry. After all, it was really the only important scrap of paper he had in the bag. The sopping wet pile of what looked like wanted ads was a minimal loss, if anything. At least that's what the Hyur's demeanor seemed likely to confirm.
He stared blankly at the wet, tattered map for a moment before leaning back in his chair and folding his arms across his chest. What little hints of annoyance that were on the Hyur's face from the sloppy mess he had found in his bag soon washed away as he sunk back into the chair, closing his eyes. While the rain never phased him, it was always nice to get out of it when possible. He wouldn't argue with a nice warm room, over the drenching cold rains outside. |

(( Ooo.. Rain outside! ))
The doors once more opened it a Black, wet Miqo`te walked in. Apparently soaking wet, her boots clanked on the wood, before she placed her gear to the side. Mostly in an endeavor to not cause trouble. The clothing she worn was much like that of a pirate would be seen, and as she removed the cap off her head, she placed off to the side and rung it out with her hands. Her hair was blackest of blues, kept short and yet in a messy style. With the light hitting it, a bit of a brighter blue could be picked up, giving her hair a look of midnight blue to Indigo. Those silver eyes then scanned the room, before she took notice of the slow business, not surprising since the storm outside was being rather a curse more then a blessing. She could only imagine what it was like on the seas. What was the old saying again? Oh yes.. "Red Skies at night, Sailors Delight. Red Skies in Mornin', Sailor's warnin'." Those words faintly said before she let out a sigh and then walked over to one of tables. She removes a piece of fruit from her pocket, before sitting down, and as she lifted her feet to use a chair near her as a foot rest, she pulled out a concealed knife, and then started to cut into the fruit with ease. Her tail twitched gently, before those silver eyes looked over to the Hyrul with his map, "Ponder tha' ta long, sugar, it may start ta grow flowers for ya." She said with a playful grin. Within that grin the canine's were longer then a normal Miqo`te, so if the dark fur was not enough of a indication, along with the white tipped of her tail, then one could summarize she was one of the Seeker's of the Moon. |

"Hmmph.." He scoffed under his breath, his eyes slowly following the approaching figure. He had sat off to the side for a reason, but all he seemed to have accomplished was to make himself stick out like a sore thumb. He could have seen it coming. As she took a seat and began to go about her own business, he let his eyes wander back down to the map.
The Hyur smirked faintly at the Miqo'te's comment, though his eyes remained fixed to the table for the moment. "Flowers? If only." He chuckled slightly. "Some pretty flowers would do well to keep me sister off me back for takin' so long to get home." His head shook from side to side, as if to dismiss the thought. Finally, his gaze found it's way up from the table, the smirk fading and his eyes fixing on the rather rougeish-looking Miqo'te sitting before him. He rose a single brow, somewhat curious as to the Miqo'te's intentions. Almost implying that she was trespassing on his ground. That she had barged in on his personal space. His expression remained fairly serious for a good few seconds before a faint, toothy smirk crossed his face and dismissed the front he had put up. "...Heh." He leaned forward, crossing his arms and resting his elbows on the table. |

The Miqo'te continues to cut the fruit with ease, then taking a piece of it her mouth to chew on it about the time she notice the Hyrul resting his elbows on the table. She finishes what she had in her mouth, before she goes to slice another piece with care.
"Ta ya sister hmmm? I am sure if she knows yah not in any danger, she probably wont be ta worried about yah. After all, yah dun look like no push over from where I'm sittin'." Those silver eyes then glance over to him, she didn't seem to have any fear or really any worry that she could be evading personal space. Instead she just stayed very calm over the entire matter, "Though I guess before my rudeness continues, tha name is Koti, wha' about yah, sugar?" She then takes the slice she cut off the fruit and eats another bite of it. Her tail twitches gently once more, though when the thunder rumbles in the distance, her eyes do seem to glance over in that direction for a split second, before they return to him. Her tail at that moment seeming more agitated before it calms. |

"And there's me problem. I'm sure she's already heard 'bout the pirates tha' tried to sack the vessel I've been on for tha' past month. Only been in port for a few hours, but I'm sure ya know how fast word travels in Limsa-lominsa these days, eh?" He uncrossed his left arm, bringing it forward to drum his fingers lightly on the table. " 'Course, I woulda ran straight home if it weren't for the wee gale we've got brewin' outside. Besides, I plan on gettin' a belly full o' rum before headin' home. Bit o' tradition, I guess."
His eyes shifted towards the doors for a moment as well as the thunder boomed out. "Name's Rain." He glanced back towards Koti, still smirking. "Ironic, eh?" |

After sitting there for a while, eyes fixed on the black Miqo'te, she hopped onto the ground and walked over to where they were talking. She cocked her head to the side and curiously looked at the kittens fruit for a few seconds, before asking: "What are you eating there?"
