That isn't what people are saying, though - they're simply pointing out that the negativity is bordering on excessive in some cases and souring the experience for quite a few people in the process. I haven't been able to get online for most of the day due to being disconnected randomly after a dungeon. It's frustrating, but the game is enjoyable enough to be worth the wait and Square Enix are actively working on a resolution and refunding any time lost.

I think this is the reason, despite my impatience and sometimes-annoyance, why I just havent gone full-tilt eff it all and left the game completely... There are so many things I could be doing instead of playing Error 1017, but I enjoy the game a lot when I actually get in... Also, it's only been a week, had this been going on for a month or more, I might have told Yoshi-p where he can stuff his servers and left for something that can actually be played. xD It's a strange sensation to be sure.

I was just pointing out that people do have a reason to be frustrated/angry even if the issues are being ironed out and remedied. To feign ignorance as to why people have such frustrations or to taunt/belittle them over it is shameful. I am not accusing anyone of doing that just throwing it out there.

I will say it looks like a real long road for those of us just coming into the FFXIV community comparatively. Both Gilgamesh and Balmung have been locked since launch for the most part from new character creation, and it's very likely that they won't be unlocked from new creation even after new servers are added. Added on top is a lack of wanting to split up the FF roleplaying community, thus not supporting other RP servers.
I'm not at SE's throat on the matter, I know they're doing what they can at the moment, nor do I disagree about keeping the community cohesive. It might mean that some of us new people will be left out of the core RP communities for 2 weeks, perhaps longer, because of the overpopulations.
