Lili, who has donated so much help to the Midnight Pearl as we claw to try and get a free company house.

Tiergan, who has created the Red Lotus plot and really tried his best to make sure everyone feels included.

R'shenn, Phae'ra, and N'obdhi, who have stayed up for countless of hours (I lost track after fifteen) trying to get everyone their WoD gear.

The general community, who have just been so lovely! I'm undoubtedly forgetting people and I do try to show my appreciation for the kindness I've seen done. So over all just, thank you everyone. <3

C'kayah is incredibly kind and made me a CUL leveling kit to lv 37 for Steady Hand II. I'm eternally thankful! Am leveling all the DOH so to get such a big boost in making that happen makes me do a happy dance. ♥

A friend of mine, Zei, bought me Alkalurops when I first hit level 50 and didn't have a weapon. One of my favourite items in the game, it was so sweet of her. ♥

And a kind stranger gave me some grapes he'd been gathering to help 'leveling adventurers', and a random ghost gave me a cookie. Little things, but nevertheless put a huge smile on my face. ♥

In attempt to pass on the kind gestures, I made someone a WVR leveling kit, minus the last 10 levels because I found it difficult to HQ them. I don't think they minded though. Blush And I try to help out with making HQ clothes or running things if needed..but I shamefully admit, lately I've been so wrapped up in capping tombs and getting all dailies/weeklies done that I've neglected taking that extra step to be helpful to others. This has been a good reminder - it's nice to see a thread like this. We have some new folk in our FC so when I get on I'll see what I can do. Tongue

When I was a fresh 50 PLD, my first job ever, an officer in my FC crafted me a HQ Mailbreaker free of charge. At the time it was worth half a million gil, which was literally more than twice the money I owned. I was grateful beyond words. He got lifelong loyalty from me. This was back in fall 2013; I am still in the same FC, haha.

On my first character, an inferior non-Roegadyn, someone gave me 10k when I stepped into Gridania.

Almost too many to keep track of!

Nat and Kage for my Vanya robes.

Kenthy and my whole damn FC for my Cashmere robes, and again for leveling kits to get CUL and WVR to 50.

Lili for tossing us spare gil towards our medium house.

Gareth and Raksha Redtail for making me gear throughout my entire WHM leveling arc.

Before I had an FC chest to use, I used to make gear for my alts and give it to them via market board, by putting them for sale at 1 gil and then quickly log on my alt to buy it. This one time, a player was quicker than me and bought my gloves. To my surprise, he was standing right next to my alt at the market board in Gridania.

I told him what had happened and he was so kind as to give the gloves to me, even said that after all, they matched me better (they were purple to match my alt's highlights). I was so moved by that, I made another pair for him for free Blush...

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C.

Not to toot my own horn, but someone accidentally put up an HQ Rose Gold Earring of Gathering the other day for 14k, when they were going for closer to 180k.  I grabbed it before anyone else could take off with it, sent a /tell to the crafter and made sure he got it back so he could relist it.  It can be time consuming and expensive to get to that level of crafting, I can't stand the thought of someone else profiting on a mistake like that.

I was hunting some random mobs around Mor Dhona when I spotted someone else doing the same. We chatted and partied up to do it, and ended up killing the mobs after our hunt logs were both done.

I hope one day to be on somebody's list.

Quite an interesting Duskwight.

Nahalia Nerusa once made the Sailor outfit for me Smile I only use the pants, but I absolutely love them, and I simply could not afford them!

I have never been any good at making gil, so that sort of gift was a very welcome one!

I also have people tip me over the course of RPing Aya's barmaiding.  At first I really didn't know what to think, I was so surprised!  I do not, and never have, RPed for gil, but I came to find that people really didn't want to take no for an answer, so these days I just accept the tips.. Smile often times they are 2, or 5 gil, other times they run into the tens of thousands.  I consider this random kindness, because it really is not expected!

I give out Savage Might Materia to random people in game for no reason.

There's nothing I want to buy so why not?

I've been crafting a bit of "basic" stuff-that-could-do-as-rp-gear for newbies both in my fc and outside of it. I find it's a good way to get people started and that, which sometimes is what people need ^^ I also never charge tips (unless people insist extensively) when I craft anything for fellow roleplayers, one of the big reasons why I advanced crafting to the heights that I have was actually so I could craft pretty things for people. I've also done HQ's en masse to help people advance their own crafting via leves. I just find it a nice way to help and I like the crafting in this game ^^
So that said if any of yous see this and you could do with something crafted, track me down. I handle most of the craft request I get via in-game mail, so just send me a friend request. The highest I can do is 4 star weaving.

Lots of people have helped me with a lot of things over time, I definitely support the notion that the community here seems a lot more friendly than in other MMORPG's Smile I think we should keep that up.

The only act of kindness I've seen in the almost 5 months of playing this game is Sastra making me a thing that I should not be talking about shhh don't tell anyone.

Other than that I guess my extreme bad luck just gives me...less favourable people. If I do something wrong and I apologise, I get yelled at. I farm the antique pieces (mostly for RP but I could do with another 2 sets for progression) and the group I'm in says "Yeah I'll pass, only here for light" and then need rolls and takes all the stuff I was needing. The level of kindness I see goes on par with dibbling your wad, walking off with the dosh and laughing. But that's me, I'm not a fortunate nor a happy soul.

I do help people when I can though, but I'm really poor gil wise (I've been sitting on 20k for the past 2 weeks) so I can't get anything people want unless I can dungeon run.

I was RPing with a friend up at the hot springs in La Noscea and happened to be near another couple. When they got up, my first thought was I hope that they weren't bothered by our proximity to them. We continued our RP only to have one of the couple walk up and offer us pieces of a cake that they had received via a messenger. We accepted, of course, when he opens up a trade window and gives me a starlight cake without asking anything in return. Afterward, he wished us well with an OOC "Happy Valentione's Day!" It seems small in comparison to some of the acts listed, but it really helped make my day. Having recently returned to game from an enforced break, that simple act made me feel incredibly welcome.

A Roe SCH was also farming some mobs in Mor Dhona for a Zodiac book, and invited me into his party to share the mob credit. While in party we had quite a bit of fun conversation about Zodiac weapons and how bad the grind is (He was working on his second, damn!), and he offered some hints and advice to the process. We even ran one of the dungeons for our book together before I had to go to bed, and managed to queue into a friendly MNK with bricks on his hands. Was a remarkably smooth and friendly run, even if I didn't tank optimally because I was also trying to make conversation. Forgot his name though, alas. Still, that's the fun, spontaneous interactions that make MMOs worth playing.
