Meh, by the time I can log in Balmung will be closed again. Besides, three days have passed since I created my character so I can just transfer it. At least I can already start RPing and I don't need to worry about reaching places where most people are.

EDIT: Ok, so when I got home Balmung was still open and the transfers still closed so I decided creating it again was better. Oh well, it means I just wasted 17 LNC and 11 CRP lvls. Could've been worse.

If you want an accurate time guess for when the server tends to clear out, its usually early to late morning. Cause most folks will be at work on the US central and eastern time and there are not a whole lot of EU players that are on Balmung.

A rough guess would be to try 6am CMT to see if the server opens. I kept an eye on server opening and closing for a few week's, so generally, the server opens up in the early morning.

EDIT: Server is always open up after maintenance for at least 4 hours or so.
