OT:

Virella here, by Ishgardian standards, is pretty open. But. this does mean she is still rather closed off when it comes down to people she doesn't know all that well, keeping them safely away from her personal space.

However once she is comfortable around people, she does get somewhat touchy. Pats on the back, hooking arms together, all that jazz, she does it. Although she would never do it in public, keeping it reserved for friends in private.

Barnabaix is pretty open to handshakes/friendly hugs as they are great ways to meet/pickpocket someone or steal worn jewelery. If he was hugged or touched without seeing the person first he would get a bit paranoid, fearing they snagged something from him. However he hates showing weakness, so he would just offer whatever the cause was his usual smile and play along.

Â in all seriousness, though, Aeylis is pretty touchy-feely, especially after drinking quite a bit. Â If it's a supposed threat, then she allows someone a few seconds to touch her before breaking their arm, all while smiling.
