I noticed the other day that a few of the people still hanging around in the Soliloquy Tavern skype chat we started picked up and started RPing in there again. I'd thought of suggesting it before, but didn't know how well it would be received. So after seeing people do it on their own, I thought I'd make an actual thread and offer up the tavern as a sort of perma-open RP chat room. Time can be decided by whoever's taking part in the RP at the time, (I know some people don't like non-canon and some people are trying to avoid canon rp just yet), so no one has to be wary of taking part. It'll just serve as a place where, given the desire to RP, someone can stick their head in and see if anyone's alive and kicking!

If you would like to be invited to the skype room you can contact me, DreadPirateXen, or poke someone in the ooc skype chat that's constantly going on. I know a few of them are still in the room, too~

Description from original chat night:
"On the southern isles of Limsa, Soliloquy tavern is snuggled amongst the warehouses and wards. In fact, the inside resembles an old market ward, gutted and refurbished with a bar to one side and a stage to the other. Large round tables are scattered between, save for a cleared area in the center. The whole place is draped in red silks and satins. A bartender busies themselves at the bar top cleaning glasses, ready for any incoming orders."

As i am always willing to RP with people Non-canon or whatever. And Abaigeal likes Soliloquy Tavern~ She has met lots of fun people thereâ™¥

I still linger about the Skype "Soliloquy" too so if you are apart of it or want to be apart of it feel to poke in, I usually have skype on all the time when i am home. And if i see someone poking about I usually make sure to say hi or offer up some sort of interaction Smile

Oh yeah!!! I am technopoptart (lists me as Elle) on skype.

I know that Tadir was suggesting something like this the other day~ I'm sure he'll be pleased.

I think it's a good idea. I might bum an invite just to see if I can work an alt in for some RP.

I am going to go a head and bump thisÂ againÂ Because the Soliloquy Tavern chat is always up and about and has been pretty active with various types of characters and various Â linkshell members and over all silly shenanigans. I think its been pretty fun and the few that have come and lurked and joined seemed to have enjoyed it too.

Its a great tool if you are still trying to figure your character out and want to test the waters. Or just come and pass time.

Its non canon unless parties involved want to incorporate snip-its and as of late we have just been playing it off as post-return for adventures as a time line.

So if you want to come and play just send a message my way and will get you added!

The chat is usually more active in the evenings with RP and, while it doesn't really matter as it is non-canon, I believe the current time is 5-yrs post-Dalamud (though it sometimes changes depending on what people want).

Its Mostly IC chat as Xene posted above and just something to fill the void when the game is down but still allows you to play with your character. So... come play with us!! We dont bite much!

Soliloquy is awesome and probably the best tavern RP I have had in any MMO setting.
