So, those who often use the FF XIV database probably has been this but I'm curious if anyone uses it. It seems there is a new voice server called Discord which is completely free (will make their money by offering skins and themes). I currently just use skype for large calls but it becomes annoying when I call the group and half of them are not home and it gets missed or if someone wishes to join they need to be on my friend's list if I am hosting. Assuming it's like other free services you cna run on your computer (ventrillo and mumblr both allow "personal" servers), there's either going to be a person limit or some sort of bandwidth limit as more people use it. He says that it's what his FC uses as you can use the client and a browser version if you're away at work and the text chat has become the FC chat because of it. It's really useful and good, the free aspect is great and hopefully it stays that way. It doesn't hold the same quality as Mumble/Vent/Teamspeak however, but that comes with the "free tag". Overall it's a good service for it's worth according to him.
