Spoilerconsidering they'll get Aero III an AoE DoT, Tetris which is an instant heal like lustrate, Assize too, which is OGCD with an AoE damage potency of 300, it also heals in an AoE, restores 10% of the WHM MP and is instant cast with a 90 second cooldown >>.

They seem like speed-running moves to me, but they probably want WHM to keep the "pure" healer motif to and not have them too effective.

Let's stay on subject, shall we? Anyway! I heard that during a few months after FFXIV's release, that Holy took a nerf but maybe it was just a rumor? It'd be odd for the skill to take two nerf hits but I'm not terribly fond of using Holy anyway lest it was to stun a bunch of monsters from smacking the tank for a moment. Still, I love the class and wouldn't be anything else so I'm hopeful the new skills will be that more useful.

Yes, they've nerfed Holy at least once before.  This is more of a fundamental change, tho, in how the damage is parsed between mobs.  Before it was just a pure numbers nerf (that still didn't keep Holy from being really important for speed runs).
