Moons ago, S'imba boldly ventured alone into the Lost City of Amdapor, seeking cultists he saw in a vision. Though he nearly died and was missing for over a week, he was able to confirm suspicious activity. A few weeks ago, he and two others followed a group of these cultists into the City after they had kidnapped an innocent older woman. They rescued her, but half the cultists escaped to later cause trouble in Highbridge.

The remaining cultists have since been killed, but S'imba still has questions. He intends to venture back into the Lost City one more time, to search for traces of that cult, to learn what he can about their intentions.

The cultists cleared out a safe path, but it is only a matter of time before the Lost City reclaims its territory. This is S'imba's last chance to learn more before the dark denizens of the City destroy the evidence forever. He is asking his friends for help, but if he has to, he'll go it alone.

Important notes regarding Noirzea:
Iâ€™ve had some players comment that they havenâ€™t been a part of the plot and so they donâ€™t know where to begin with getting involved. Iâ€™ve been including a list of â€œrumorsâ€ for several posts, and one of the major benefits of these rumors is that they help new players get involved.

You donâ€™t have to be part of the story from start to finish: these rumors can be your way in. Anyone who has any desire to be a part of this plot may, if they desire, know what is included in this list.

Rumors: (public knowledge)

Gridanian naturalists are uncertain how to classify the new strain of mandragora, a highly aggressive type of seedkin with a single large eye in the center of their heads. It seems to have a breeding population. There have been no further sightings of the coblyn-treant hybrid.
The Ossuary is seeking information regarding the unnatural death of Fufutilo Keketilo, in accordance with the late monetaristâ€™s will.
Deven Smith, Limsan merchant, is making several very public overtures towards Anstarra Silverain, including contacting her superiors at Maelstrom Command. He wants to purchase the Vylbrandi Chocobo from her.
The Ahriman Menace seems to be subsiding. Though the voidsent are still maintaining a population, extermination efforts seem to be making a noticeable difference.

Far too much a nobleman to fight himself, he wishes to sponsor a warrior interested in participating in the Colosseum and has elected to host a tournament of his own to choose. He has hired workers to construct a temporary arena on the outskirts of Highbridge, and invites any and all who wish to be combatants. The winner of the tournament will be his champion.
