II. RP StyleÂ

Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
If have to say probably medium rp, as I like to make decent sized posts, but I'm not one to be in character all the time.
Views on RP combat and injuries:
I love combat RP. I myself prefer the good old honor system over the rng, but I can be rather flexible. Luca has been in a lot of combat/battles over the years, and has had his fair share of injuries. Depending on the severity of his injuries or wounds, he could be temporarily unavailable for RP until he has recovered enough for it.
Views on IC romance:
Neither Luca or Izagi really have much time to be romantic, as they are so busy with their work and duties. Luca actually has a partner, though a lot of the time doesn't have much time for even him. Dyne loved someone years ago, but due to forced circumstances..it was unable to last. He has since been uninterested in anyone since romantically.
Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
Over the years Luca, Izagi and Dyne have all become rather attached to various individuals, and have even endured the pain of loss. There are those whom they would fight and die to protect. Though they try to prevent such situations from happening in the first place.
Views on lore:
I enjoy many parts of the lore, though there are a few things I really am not fond of, such as the whole Primal/Eikon temporing (and other various names for it), as well as the Miqo'te Nunh situation.
Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
I like to rp publicly in say, with actions shown in custom emotes, but I understand some may be a little more shy about it, so I am flexible and can rp accordingly. Also there are certain circumstances where party or linkshell os a good idea, like when certain participants are in other areas or if the party will be splitting up or not close enough for say.

Â Luca was raised by ex-Garlean officer, Dyne Van Sylvus in the Coerthas Central Highlands. Dyne trained Luca with his group rigorously on the daily as the boy grew up. Though whenever Dyne was away for battle and other important tasks, Luca had to acclimate to taking care of himself the best he could. He hunted for his food and helped as a tavern-hand for a local establishment. All the while he continued his training on the daily, hoping to be as skilled as his master. His eagerness to accomplish this, had put his life in grave danger when his solo training in the Coerthas mountains put him face to face with a Behemoth. He barely escaped with his life, thanks to Dyne showing up to rescue him and the aid of a couple of mages who later joined their group.

Â As Luca grew older and proved himself capable, Dyne would allow Luca to fight with them on the battlefield. Over time Luca proved his worth among his peers and rose in rank, eventually becoming one of the leaders of his group, alongside Dyne himself. Time and again he showed himself to be a skilled soldier and more than capable strategist. His greatest achievements being defending various settlements, camps, and forts in Coerthas(as well as other surrounding territories) against attack, including large scale dragon attacks, as well as a great battle against a bandit fortress in the Coerthas Western Highlands. The latter ending in a situation referred to as the 'Black Snow Incident', where his true heritage became apparent and he inadvertently caused the deaths of many of his comrades and Ishgardian soldiers. The rumors this had caused spread throughout Ishgard, had put him on the run for some time.Â

Â Still feeling solely responsible for the deaths of many, Luca has since left Coerthas for unknown reasons and has little contact with anyone, even Dyne.

Izagi became the apprentice to a powerful Evoker named Nicola Vayne at a young age. His intelligence and inherent abilities helped him become quite powerful by the time he rounded his first decade of life. As he got older, he began to be infatuated with aether crystals and his ability to manipulate power and energy between them. It wasn't long before he even surpassed his mentor. This greatly pleased his mentor, as the boy's abilities would be of great use to him in order to correct the mistakes of his predecessors. Izagi and his mentor joined Dyne's group under the arrangement that they would help eachother in their endeavors to defend Eorzea against it's many threats.Â

Â Years later, when his mentor mysteriously disappeared, Izagi took on his own apprentice..a young Miqo'te by the name on L'remy Tia. Remy shared Izagi's ability of aether manipulation, and he did his best to teach him how to control and master this ability. Izagi spent much of his time researching and experimenting, especially attempting to further his aether manipulation ability to move living matter from place to place using small animals and aether crystals in as a conduit in separated cages on opposite ends of the room. In all his experimenting, he was never quite successful, but it never halted his resolve to keep trying.Â

Â After Remy's twin brother was kidnapped by voidsent, Remy left to become stronger and rescue his brother. In this endeavor, he became mixed up in a group of dark mages. Remy got himself into a deadly situation when the group decided to take a village hostage in Mor Dhona, and killing many of the villagers to summon a powerful voidsent. Remy fought against them to try to save theÂ villagers from them, and Izagi showed up in time to help him as he'd been tracking them for some time. They fought and defeated many of the mages, until the demon they summoned used her power to take hold of Izagi's aether within his body and used it against him when he was distracted protecting Remy. As his body began to fail him, he used all the power he had left to slowly seal the portal they opened, closing her in. But before it finally closed, she used his own aether to shred him apart right in front of Remy.Â

Â As Izagi died, he finished sealing the demon away, the remnants of his aether washing over Remy, who screamed in anguish and blacked out, awaking some time later surrounded by dead bodies. He picked up Izagi's dropped tome and returned home to their group, and took up residence in his late mentor's lab, where he noticed the rats were gone from their cage..finding them in another at the other end of the lab...

Dyne is an ex-Garlean officer and skilled tinkerer, who left Garlemald due to moral conflictions. After traveling the world for some time, he finally settled in Coerthas, where he took up residence and made a name for himself among the citizens and soldiers there. He was known as a good, honorable soldier who went out of his way to help and protect those in need. He became a member of a defense group based in the region called Silverwind Chevalier, where he quickly proved himself and rose through the ranks.Â

Â They often worked alongside Ishgard and it's soldiers on many occasions. It was during this time that he met a skilled healer and mage by the name of Nyssara. Over time they grew very close, and one day during a trek through Dravania on a scouting mission..they encountered a Wyvern being attacked by voidsent. They rescued the Wyvern and slayed the oidsent, but during the battle, Nyssara had become wounded and the target of some curse from the twisted creature leading the void creatures. It wasnt long before she became gravely ill. Dyne did his best to treat her wounds and get her back to Ishgard. It was there that she was deemed 'void tainted' and needed to be purged. Dyne pleaded with them to spare her..that she could still be healed. They agreed to allow him and the healers to attempt to try for a short time.Â

Â While Dyne was away a short time on an errand outside of the city..Nyssara was sentenced to death and yhe task of.her disposal was left to a powerful sect of ruthless and feared Templar Knights Dyne knew all too well. She was taken to a secluded place outside the city along the bridge where they proceeded to follow through with the order. It was at that time Dyne arrived to attempt one last time to sway them from their decision. They would not, and when they moved to kill her, Dyne stepped in to try stopping them. Even alone he made a great effort to save her, but even still he was unable to defeat them..and once he was defeated, he was spared, allowed to live solely in respect for his prior deeds and respect for him. Though they slaughtered Nyssara right in front of him with steel and fire. They then left her to die.Â Dyne has since never been able to forgive them for their hand in her end. As she died out in the cold, she was pulled into the void by an unknown entity, and her pain and anger had changed her..She became something twisted and evil. No longer the woman Dyne loved..

Â Dyne continued to fight for the defense of these lands..But he never forgot or forgave what happened that day. Some time later, during a great battle..as his group made their way to aid their allies, they were intercepted by a group of powerful voidsent and routed. The survivors were taken prisoner in the void, where they were enslaved. Dyne and his comrades, Including his good friend, Asch, were used as gladiators, battle fodder and breeding stock. It was then that Asch's son was born to the matron of the void dimension they were in. Dyne and Asch decided they needed to escape somehow. They needed the child to have a better life than this. They devised a plan to escape, during which they had retrieved the child and made their way out of the keep, along the bridge to the port crystal where they opened a portal home. At that time, the voidsent had caught up to them and in a last ditch effort to protect the others, Asch handed the young Luca to Dyne and asked him to watch over him..As he kicked Dyne through the portal and shattered the port crystal, sealing the portal behind them.Â

Â Asch fought fiercely against the horde alone for a time, until he was eventually overwhelmed and recaptured and tortured until he was finally broken..and became the matron's general in her army. From that point forward, Dyne raised Luca as his own, and trained him all the boy's life, so that he could one day grow up with the power to help others. Dyne knows he cant run from his past, but he lives every day trying as best he can to make up for it.

Â As the old leader of their group had perished while captive in the void, Dyne had become the new leader..Though as he himself was frequently absent, he decided to share leadership with Luca. It was then that he made a pact with the Wyvern he had rescued back in Dravania and they have become inseperable companions since.
