New here, played a little in beta 4, in theory in early access, but wasn't able to create characters on Balmung during the beta. Hoping I can later.
MMOs I've played at some point include: WoW, CoH, Rift, DDO, TSW. There's other things I've played (like Island of Kesmai) which some people would consider MMOs.
RP background: Been playing D&D forever. I tend to roleplay in MMOs, but not primarily as a social thing done instead of other things, but just in that I mostly make decisions in-character when practical. So, some characters are a lot more likely than others to kill things, some are more inclined to explore, and so on. I recognize this is inefficient. I don't care.
If you remember "seebs" from CoH or DDO forums, or "the_real_seebs" from Rift, that's probably me. I maintained a bunch of addons, some RP-oriented, in Rift, and a couple in WoW. Depending on what FF14 comes out with for addon stuff, and when, and whether I'm still playing then, I may do similar things for FF14.
Hobbies include games, programming, and programming games.
