What if the Blue Skies were a movie?

Well, I'd imagine it to look something like this.

I decided to throw together a mock movie trailer styled video for the storyline that's right about the corner. This video is entirely based around the storyline itself, no less. Most encounters and areas are of course being recycled and repurposed for the sake of the story, and events will naturally unfold differently due to the human element, but I figure this is a fun teaser regardless.

The video was really good actually, there was some great camera work there. I would love to join and sent you a PM so hopefully you get it soonish and we can figure something out.

Recruitment is now closed/invitation only for the time being. However, anyone who's inquired with interest prior to today are still on the table. If I haven't gotten back to you in a bit, feel free to poke me with another PM so I can add you to my list of things to get to. Been keeping busy lately, so my apologies for any delays!

Dropping a line here, as it's been a hot minute since I last did. We're still around! However we took a bit of a hiatus from our storyline due to a few reasons, both in-game and out. I am, however, in the process of ironing out the details on starting our storyline back up, and once everything is set in stone I'll be opening recruitment once again, albeit slowly.

So, keep an eye on this thread if you're interested in joining, and by all means feel free to drop me a PM if you'd just like to work on building connections in the mean time. Not like you can't interact with people in the linkpearl, even if the pearl itself is closed momentarily! I am still very rarely giving out invites if things click, so there's that as well.

"Are you sure about this, Endemerrin? You seemed quite enamored with the idea. There will likely be no going back once it's all said and done." The Dunesfolk gave the Sunseeker a prying gaze, clearly uncertain of his friend's intentions and his knowledge of their consequences. "The guilds won't likely engage in a partnership ever again."

"I'm sure." Merri's brow furrowed in determination as he glanced down at the document in front of him. "I was so certain this would be my life. So certain that I had found my calling." He took in a deep breath, easing his expression in the process. "But I never realized at what cost it would come. You know this life isn't for me, Rorolumu," A faint smile crossed Endemerrin's lips. "and I know it isn't the one for you, either."

The Miqo'te plucked the quill on his desk from it's inkwell. "Do you remember when we first founded the Blue Skies, Rorolumu?"

The Dunesfolk simply nodded as his eyes fixated on the quill.

"I had just turned twenty-two. It'd been eleven years since our adventure began. Six since I left on my own travels." He took in another deep breath and paused momentarily. "Everyone came. Fritz, M'nisa, Fordrialt..." The smile once again found it's way back to his cheeks. "Even Jackie and Dak. None of them knew each other, outside of stories I had shared on our individual adventures. Yet, when they all came together for the first time--"

Rorolumu couldn't help but smile as well, regardless of how terribly out of character it was for him. "It was as if they'd known each other their entire lives."

Merri's smile grew into a broad, toothy grin. "It wasn't about the fame, or the coin. We weren't trying to establish a name for ourselves to further our business. We were adventurers, but more importantly, we were friends. That was it." The Sunseeker placed the quill to the paper in front of him, and quickly signed off his name.

"The Blue Skies Adventuring Company is no more, Rorolumu."

The room fell silent as the two stared down the signed parchment. They had spoken about the possibility of disbanding the company, but it was always a fleeting thought. Yet now, there it was. A reality.

"The Blue Skies, however..."

Endemerrin removed the sky blue linkpearl from his ear and began to gently roll it between his fingers.

"They'll never fade."

His fingers curled around the pearl, and determination once again burned in his eyes. "It's time I show Dog, Zachary, Ed-- ...It's time I show everyone what the Blue Skies was meant to be."

(( The Blue Skies Adventuring Company is no more! I had been toying with the idea of disbanding the company, and reverting the linkpearl back to it's roots for some time now. Things sort of lulled, however, and it never really went anywhere, both IC and OOCly. I always wanted to aim big, and it always fell short~

I miss what the Blue Skies used to be, though, and I've decided that it was time we tried to bring it back. We're taking it casually this time around, though, and I'm just going to let the linkpearl grow on it's own, as I always wanted it to. As such, recruitment is open (OOCly, anyways. We'll discuss IC pearling as a part of the process) this time around, so no closed doors.
