Personally, I couldn't be happier! XD (Well, I could be happier if Mysidia was designated as an RP server, but beggars can't be choosers. o-o) 'Sides, like Firestorm mentioned earlier, it's almost poetic seeing as we started out on a FFX server, and now we're ending up on a FFX server! xD

I don't think it's about isolation so much as wriggle room. The servers will no doubt even out eventually. But for now, I think people want to make sure a server will actually fit all of us on it without having to use an overflow server.

Well, my vote is sticking with Trabia. So it essentially doesn't count now. ^_^
We're going to find out tomorrow that all of zam, eorzeapedia, core and gamefaqs changed their mind and are going to besaid. (they can't stop staring at the lantern.) |

Time's looking awfully short, though. This entire time, I've pretty much dedicated my vote to "Not-FF10;" originally I voted for Mysidia in hopes of knocking Besaid out of consideration for a spillover server when it looked as though Lindblum was going to win. I just know that a lot of folks I knew from Fairy server that I don't particularly care for will be rolling on Besaid and I would've preferred to not be anywhere near them. I take consolation in knowing they won't likely know who I am, but it'll still be awkward to see them walking about. T_T EDIT: As far as low pop servers go, I just wish Istory would've gotten more love. FF5 forever :< This topic is under Nikolai's control. You cannot obtain crystals in this topic.

Isolation is all well and good until you find yourself on a dead server.
I'm hoping that it will fill up to at least two chocobos! Looks like Besaid is going to win. Only another 15 minutes left on the poll, I think. I personally voted for Lindblum. :cheer: |

Yeah, Fairy was one of those dead servers. It was painful to play as it was happening... people quitting left and right until no one that remained could get anything done, leading to more people quitting, including, eventually, myself. This game seems somehow yet more insistent that we develop strong interpersonal connections, as we're now incredibly reliant upon each other even on an economic basis... but, I suppose if the population does for some reason stagnate, the Silver Anvil would then be able to establish a monopoly, taking care of everyone's crafting and repair needs!
Hmmm, yes. Excuse me while I go scheme... This topic is under Nikolai's control. You cannot obtain crystals in this topic.

Yay monopolizing the market!
I wouldn't worry about server stagnation, though. At least not as much as server overflow. It's easier to just watch people roll on the low-pop not-queues-ever server than to figure out wtf to do when the server gets locked and tons of RPers aren't even in yet. Also, did I ever mention how much I love that server pop is represented by chocobos? |

The only two things I would like better would be moogles, or if it wasn't number of chocobos.
Empty Server: Medium Server: Heavy Server: Full Server: |
