Y'lani eyed the wanted poster with a grimace. Her tail bristled at the stench of the Garlean, stuck to the parchment like a frog on a windowpane. The Garlean in green, her attacker, had been right at that pillar in Gridania and nobody had been the wiser. She pried at her satchel, throwing in what mattered most to her; her fang earrings, maps, gil and writing utensils all made their way into the makeshift pouch.
"Stupid," she scolded herself, gently knocking her head against the support. "Stupid for trusting guard. Can't remember scent. No... can't do thing about scent. Too hard to track."
It was then that the pugilist swung the satchel over her shoulder with her free hand, the other bound by a cast from her spontaneous fall the day before. She spat on the ground, intending to leave behind her own scent, before setting foot for Thanalan. Far away from this mess.
"Back later."
