Okay.
So, I got the wrong Superbalanced Makeup, as y'all might remember. But I did try it. However, I didn't really like it. The color was my color (unlike the Conceal and Perfect foundation sample they included), but the coverage is really light. It says it's buildable, but I haven't found that to be the case.
However, it's not drying, and it doesn't cling to dry patches.
Still, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Snow. I've used it before, but at the time the lightest shade available was Porcelain, which is a bit too dark for me. So I got Snow, which is the right shade.
Well, I haven't ever had this happen with the Porcelain color, but the Snow color just clings to all of my dry patches. On my chin, I look like I have little white dots across my skin, even though I don't - it's the foundation. It balls up around my eyes and generally ends up looking either cakey by the end of the day, or vanishing completely. I haven't figured out how to mitigate this, despite using primers and moisturizers in an attempt to alleviate the issue with the dry skin patches.
Very disappointing.
I also purchased the Pur Cosmetics "Love Your Selfie 2" palette. It's beautiful:
But, I returned it.
The issue I have with it is that the eye shadows, while lovely, don't last. They crease up and vanish within 5 hours of application - even with primer (I tried Urban Decay, Smashbox, and Wet 'n Wild primers). This made me so sad that I went ahead and took it back. I do not recommend it.
