Hi! So I was originally on Zalera and I actually had an awesome group of friends and we had a small RP group going. Unfortunately that group died very slowly when people either quit the game or just lost interest in roleplay. After awhile, I decided to make alts on Balmung and I really started to enjoy Balmung. I have a really good time, I have a nice RP free company I'm in, and I'm involved in a lot of stuff, but I left behind my character on Zalera because she had a house that I wanted to keep. I still play her, but it'd be nice to get back into roleplay on her and it's kind of lonely since my free company is dead.

I've been tempted to transfer my character on Zalera to Balmung, but I was wondering if maybe some people are sick of Balmung's lag and traffic? Or just want a whole other RP experience or a break from Balmung for whatever reason? If enough people are interested, I'd really like to restart something on Zalera, create a linkshell or even a free company. There is a ton of real estate for sale on Zalera and it's super cheap, so it'd be cool to even get a free company house. I still wouldn't know what the theme would be for the LS/FC but I'd be willing to take suggestions.Â

Either way, it just sucks that Zalera has died and it'd be nice to get things going on there again. You wouldn't have to fully quit your RP life on Balmung to participate. What do you guys think?

I'd say go for it! The RPC, while really Balmung-heavy, is still made to cater to RP on all servers. (If you'd like Zalera prefixes added to the options, lemme know and I can squeeze them in!)

Maybe a general "RP on Zalera" Linkshell would work? Start by getting a group of RPers together and grow from there?

I've noticed that, while not as bad as it sounds for you, we've slowly lost parts of our RP community on Lamia as well. I think right now is just a slow period for the game or RP in general, but that's only based on my own observations.

I'd agree with this, even on Balmung there are quite a few people taking breaks because of the patch lull, people going back to school (in the US, I think?) and the fact WoW's new expansion is around the corner. But if you build it, they will come and all that jazz. Good luck!

Thanks! I just started a Zalera linkshell. It should be in the linkshell hall under other if anyone is interested. Hopefully it works out.
