Hi there! I just rolled my first character in ARR a couple days ago on Balmung. I played the beta for a bit, and real life got a bit hectic around the time the game launched... but now I'm excited to RP with everyone I have a chance to RP with in the communityÂ Big Grin

--MMORPG background:
I played FF11 for a while, and I was in love with it. SWG, ToR, GW, GW2, Tera.
--RP experience
I've been a very heavy roleplayer in all MMO's I've played.
--How did you learn about the coalition?

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
Very heavy. Doesn't matter where my character is or what she is doing, if RP presents itself... I'm IC.
--Anything from real life you'Â€Â™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I'm a hairstylist and I looooove my job, and I am a part time musician.

If anyone has any advice, or any FC's or LS's that I should look into please don't hesitate to let me know! I'm still trying to get used to everything and learn all I can about the lore, and most of all just looking forward to meeting more people. Thanks for reading my very short introduction!Â

Check out the Linkshell Hall for Balmung here! Depending on the type of character you have/what you're looking for, the LS/FCs all have a "how much IC" rating!

Welcome! We're always glad to see new faces around here! And don't worry, Google was the way I found my way here, as well.

In regards to Linkshells the best place to find one is theÂ Linkshell Hall. You can sort by server, as well. Look through them and see what tickles your fancy. We are going through a bit of a clean-up period, though, so not all of them may be active.

TheÂ RPC WikiÂ is a great place to start to learn about lore, as well as a few threads in the RP Discussion section. TheÂ Role-Play HandbookÂ also has a section on lore with a bunch of helpful links.

Fayes suggestion of the Harbingers of Dawn are a good sort, I don't know them too well, but i've met a few of their members.

Aysun and S'anhu both put up links to the "Linkshell hall" where you'll find a whole host of others. I'd take a look at "Intermission", a good OOC channel to get you "in the thick of it" as it were. Plenty of people, ideas and opportunities floating around there.
