It wasn't always that way. Â The automated system was put in place to eliminate the tickets requesting for things to be restored. Â 9 times out of 10, if it can't be resorted through the Item Restoration service, they won't restore it at all.
It used to be that you had a very limited number of restorations they would do. Â Thankfully, they moved away from that. Â ^_^
